I really wish I had documented my meal to give this review even more credibility. I LOVE this place. My wife and I walked up to the bar, enjoyed our conversation with Fredy, and had the most delicious tacos. I had the Al Pastor, De Birria, and Carnitas on corn tortillas, and they were all exceptional. I'm new to the area, and somewhat afraid I'll be at this place quite a lot! Highly recommend for some really great atmosphere, service, and quality of food.
My girlfriend and I have been coming here for a couple of months and have loved the food and service every time. *(Tacos De Birria are ON POINT!!)* Recently we ordered dinner from there to have it delivered through GrubHub. They forgot to put the dipping juice in for the birrias and that’s practically the most important part!! I called and told them and the manager immediately offered to remake it and have an employee drop it off to us!!!!! That’s…… unheard of man. I have never been to another establishment that actually puts in the work to make sure you are genuinely taken care of. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is consistently amazing, and whether you’re eating in or taking out the people working there are pleasant, considerate, and prompt to fill your drinks or check in on you. Jose, my dude! Please know your efforts did NOT go unappreciated or taken for granted. Keep up the incredible work my guy and we will shout praise from the hilltops!
Came in for lunch with my teenage kids, and we were all impressed! They both ordered the birria tacos—absolutely delicious. Everyone serves birria these days, but not everyone gets it right, and this place nailed it. I had the pastor bowl, and the flavors blended perfectly. We left very happy with our visit and will definitely be coming back!
First time visiting here and this was one of the best experiences we have ever had at a restaurant. We were attended to quickly, atmosphere was great, food was delicious and our waiter Josue was simply amazing. Casa Tezcal is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious full of flavor and beautifully presented. I had the Pescado topped with shrimp, and it was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chimichurri steak was just as impressive tender, juicy, and that chimichurri added the perfect kick. Portions were generous, and everything came with fresh lettuce, guacamole, pico de gallo, and fluffy Mexican rice. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was modern yet warm. Highly recommend Casa Tezcal for anyone looking for quality Mexican cuisine!
